"Scott you are more than welcome to use photos or show customers the putting green at my residence, as well as my ranch. As a matter of fact, I would welcome any referrals as to your work, or it's finished construction." -- Rob Arnot, Breckenridge, Texas
Backyard putting greens are designed to be a personal practice facility, not just a putting green. Creating a golf environment that's easily accessible and offers short chip and pitch shots, right to left breaks and putting circle drills can happen right in your own backyard. Many golf instructors use practice greens to help a golfers short game. Phil Mickelson is one PGA golfer who grew up with an backyard putting green in his yard as a kid. Today Mickelson is considered one of the short game masters on tour. Artificial putting greens emulate a real putting green with consistent Stemp speeds around 9.5 to 11. They are easily maintained with a blower and require no yearly maintenance.
Putting greens also make great additions to a multi family complex, assisted living or student housing facility. They bring people together in the spirit of fun competition.
